FTSE tipped to open flat to slightly higher this morning

In the US last night, the Dow fell 131 points at 12,381, the Nasdaq Composite lost 44 points at 2,759 and the S&P500 dropped 16 points at 1,317.
In Asia today, the Nikkei was recently up 26 points at 9,486, while the Hang Seng ended the morning ahead 15 points at 22,726.
WTI crude oil traded at $98.26 a barrel and gold settled at $1,517 an ounce.
LONDON MARKETS
In the corporate diary today, interim results are due from Datong, Greencore Group, Holidaybreak, Paragon Group Of Companies, Renew Holdings and Victrex.
Final results are scheduled from Big Yellow Group, Cable & Wireless Worldwide, Chamberlin, De La Rue, Great Portland Estates, Homeserve, KCOM Group, Marks & Spencer, Pennon Group and Strategic Thought Group.
