FTSE tipped to open modestly higher this morning

In the US last night, the Dow rose 145 points at 12,189, the Nasdaq Composite added 41 points at 2,729 and the S&P500 gained 17 points at 1,297.
In Asia today, the Nikkei was recently up 104 points at 9,753, while the Hang Seng ended the morning ahead 70 points at 22,132.
WTI crude oil traded at $92.99 a barrel and gold settled at $1,504 an ounce.
LONDON MARKETS
In the corporate diary today, interim results are due from Photo-Me International.
Final results are scheduled from Anite, Betfair, European Nickel, Ishaan Real Estate and Stagecoach Group.
Trading statements are expected from Pactolus Hungarian Property and Senior.
