StockMarketWire.com - Eurasian Natural Resources Corporation's copper and cobalt production rose by 40% and 27% respectively in the third quarter.

The company said production has been maintained at effective full available capacity across all of its principal commodities.

It said revenues had risen significantly driven by higher prices for its main commodities and increased sales volumes.

But it said the overall financial performance was partially offset by expected cost inflation.

The company said its financial position remained strong with gross available funds of $1.2bn and total debt of $1.5bn.

ENRC also said its organic growth programme remained on track.
