StockMarketWire.com - Petrogrand has spudded the N-232 well in the Nizhnepaninsky licence area.
The planned depth of the well is 2800 metres.
The well will be drilled by the Uralmash 3D-76 drilling unit which is capable for drilling up to 5000 metres deep.
The targets are Cretaceous, Jurassic, Weathering mantle and Palaeozoic deposits.
Petrogrand plans to do extensive testing during and after drilling and the estimated drilling time is 60-70 days, excluding testing.
Spudding of Petrogrand other two wells (one in Nizhnepaninsky and one in Muromsky-2) will begin shortly.
