StockMarketWire.com - Talisman Energy and Mitsubishi Corporation have agreed a strategic joint venture in Papua New Guinea.
The two companies have agreed to work together to aggregate natural gas in the Western Province of PNG with a view to potential LNG export of approximately 3 million tonnes per annum.
Mitsubishi will enter into nine of Talisman's licences under a farm-out deal valued at approximately $280m which will be paid in the form of a capital carry.
