FTSE tipped to open slightly lower today, RBS in focus

In the US last night, the Dow fell 27 points at 12,939, the Nasdaq lost 15 points at 2,933 and the S&P500 shed 5 points at 1,358.
In Asia today, the Nikkei was recently up 37 points at 9,591, while the Hang Seng had lost 193 points at 21,355.
WTI crude oil traded at $105.90 a barrel and gold settled at $1,773 an ounce.
LONDON MARKETS
In the corporate diary today, interim results are due from Ashmore Group, Centaur Media, Go-Ahead Group, Kier Group, Oil & Gas Development Company, Redrow and Sinclair Is Pharma.
Final results are scheduled from Avocet Mining, British American Tobacco, Capita, Capital Shopping Centres Group, Centrica, Hellenic Telecom Industries, Informa, Lancashire Holdings, Mondi, New World Resources, Royal Bank of Scotland Group, RSA Insurance Group, STV Group and Wentworth Resources.
A trading statement is expected from MAM Funds.
