StockMarketWire.com - Apple is no longer the world's most valuable company.

With its shares having fallen below $400 for the first time since December 2011 its market capitalisation is now below Exxon Mobil, the oil giant.

Concerns are mounting about Apple's falling sales. At one time during yesterday's trading in New York its shares fell as low as $398.11 before closing at $402.80.

Apple shares have dropped more than 40% since last September.
