MARKET OVERVIEW AT LONDON CLOSE

Immediately following the release, US dollar pairs are trading lower against the majority of its major counterparts.
Tuesday’s release of US housing starts has posted 0.914m, missing market expectations of 0.950m, but pushed higher from its previous level of 0.856m month-on-month.
Also, US building permits posted 0.974m, missing expectations of 0.974m, down from its previous level of 1.005m.

US equity indexes are trading in positive territory as the S&P 500 trades at 1646.86, up +0.48% from its previous close, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average trades at 15,297.39, up 0.77% from its previous close level.
Following the bullish economic data coming out of the Eurozone earlier on Tuesday, euro pairs have continued to push higher against the majority of its major counterparts.
Germany’s ZEW economic sentiment has posted 38.5, outperforming market expectations of 38.1, up from its previous level of 36.4. Also, the European ZEW economic sentiment came in at 30.6, outperforming market expectations of 29.4, up markedly from its previous level of 27.6.
