- Velocys (VLS) (VLS.L) [LON.VLS], which offers smaller scale gas-to-liquids (GTL) solutions that convert unconventional, remote and problem gas into valuable liquid fuels, will be briefing investors at the first ever Stock Market Show next week.

Susan Robertson, its CFO, will be able to describe how the systems based on the company's technology are significantly smaller than those using conventional technology, enabling modular plants to be deployed cost effectively in remote locations and on smaller fields than is possible with competing systems.

Listed on the AIM market Velocys has around 100 employees based both in the UK and the US.

The Stock Market Show, which is hosted by the London Stock Exchange (LSE), takes place at The Business Design Centre in Islington, London, on Saturday September 13. It is aimed at helping individuals to become better investors.

As well as providing the opportunity to meet market experts, company directors and product providers there will be seminars on key topics throughout the day. Free tickets can be obtained by pre-registering on and these will also provide entry to all the seminars.

Mr Weighs will be speaking on the main stage at 2.30 p.m..
