- Findel has appointed Alexandra (Sandy) Kinney Pritchard as a non-executive director with immediate effect. Kinney Pritchard is a qualified accountant who has had a distinguished career across financial services and credit based organisations in particular. She is currently a non-executive director of TSB Bank plc and MBNA Ltd and previously, amongst other positions, was for many years a senior Partner in PwC and more latterly a non-executive director of the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.

On her appointment she will become chairman of the audit & risk committee, and will also become a member of the remuneration committee and of the nomination committee. At the same time Eric Tracey will step down as chair of the audit & risk committee, although he will remain a member of that committee, and he will be appointed to fill the vacant chairmanship of the remuneration committee. Chairman David Sugden said: "We are delighted that Sandy has agreed to join our Board. Sandy brings a depth of understanding and experience across the financial services sector, from both an executive and non-executive capacity. This expertise will be invaluable to Findel and will complement the existing skills and outlook of the Board."

"I would like to record the board's appreciation of the excellent work that Eric Tracey has done in chairing the Audit & Risk Committee over the last 5 years."
