StockMarketWire.com - Remote meetings company LoopUp Group said it had agreed to acquire conference services provider Warwick Holdco from GMT Communications Partners for £61.4m.

The company also announced a £50m share placement to fund the deal. New shares would be issued at 400p each and represent around 22.8% of the enlarged group.

LoopUp said the deal would give it a significant scale benefit to drive earnings and forecast cost savings of around £0.5m in the year through December and at least £2.8m in 2019.
