StockMarketWire.com - Zenith Energy said it had generated record revenue from its operations in Azerbaijan during the month of April of around $505k.

The company said it was currently in negotiations to contract a larger rig to clean out and potentially deepen in the Z-21 well in the Zardab field.

'The ongoing geological study of Zardab has encouraged us to greatly increase our efforts in this field and, accordingly, we have decided to maximise the use of our resources in the area,' chief operating officer for Azerbaijan Mike Palmer said.
