StockMarketWire.com - Russia-focused Volga Gas said production of liquid petroleum gases had commenced its its Dobrinskoye processing plant.

The first commercial load of LPG was transported from the plant on 17 May, following testing and commissioning in April.

The plant was expected to reach full operational capacity, and produce 50 tonnes of LPG per day, by mid-June 2018.

'The delivery of the LPG project is one of the key events for Volga Gas in 2018 and will be a meaningful addition to the group's revenue and profits,' chief executive Andrey Zozulya said.

'The incremental volume represents a 10% increase in sales volumes.'
