- Vodafone Group said it had formed a new collaboration agreement in Tunisia with Tunisie Telecom, the first partnership of its kind for the British telecom giant in North Africa.

Under the three-year 'partner market agreement', which didn't involve the purchase of any equity, Vodafone would provide strategic and operational support in areas including enterprise, consumer, technology, and procurement.

Vodafone would benefit from Tunisie Telecom's expertise and deep understanding of the region, Vodafone said.

The partnership would include roaming and carrier services agreements, and see the businesses collaborate on further potential opportunities to benefit customers, it added.
