- Financial services group Prudential said Barry Stowe had decided to retire as chief executive of its North American unit.

He would remain as an adviser to the group and be replaced by Michael Falcon on 7 January 2019.

Falcon has been chief executive of JP Morgan Asset Management's retirement businesses in the US and currently led the investment bank's asset management businesses in Asia.
