StockMarketWire.com - Fund management group Liontrust Asset Management said fourth-quarter assets under management slipped as investment performance fell and institutional investors pulled funds.

From 1 October to 31 December 2018, assets under management fell to £11.2bn from £12.0bn the previous quarter, while fund flows fell to £471m from £571m a year earlier.

Outflows from institutional investors totalling £184m for the quarter and a loss of £1.28bn from market and investment performance weighed down funds under management.
