StockMarketWire.com - SDX Energy said it had started planning for a new 12-well drilling campaign in Morocco.

The campaign would commence either by the end of the third quarter of 2019 or the fourth quarter of 2019 and wrap up during the first half of 2020.

Total gross capex was expected at around $10m, with SDX's share being around $8m.

SDX said it was targeting gross production in Morocco of 9m-to-11m standard cubic feet per day of conventional natural gas sales in 2019.

At the Meseda concession in Egypt, meanwhile, SDX set 2019 gross production guidance of 4,000-4,200 barrels of oil per day.

At the North West Gemsa concession, also in Egypt, guidance was set at 3,400-to-3,600 boepd.

First gas from the South Disouq concession in Egypt was targeted for mid-2019.
