StockMarketWire.com - Federal Grid Company said revenue in 2018 increased by 11.2% on increased revenue from electricity transmission and connection services.

The company said revenue increased by 11.2%, or RUB 24,295m year-on-year.

Growth was driven by revenue from electricity transmission services, which grew 10.9% on higher electricity prices, and revenue from connection services, which grew 13.5%, due to 'changes to service schedules in accordance with customer orders,' the company said.

Adjusted (earnings) EBITDA fell 0.2% to RUB 128,983, which is RUB 313m less than in the same period of 2017, which the company blamed on lower income from penalties amid judicial execution orders. Excluding this factor, adjusted EBITDA would have risen by 2.3%.

Federal Grid Company's total assets at the end of 31 December amounted to RUB 1,487,062m, up 4.4% from the beginning of the year.
