StockMarketWire.com - Palm oil producer M.P.Evans Group said its output and palm oil prices both fell in the first five months of the year.

The company said it produced 78,800 tonnes of crude palm oil in the five months through May, down from 77,500 tonnes on-year.

The average price of crude palm oil fell to $533 per tonne, a significant reduction from the $663 during the equivalent period in 2018.

The crop of oil-palm fresh fruit bunches rose around 5% to 238,600 tonnes.
