StockMarketWire.com - BT Group said it had to sell its global headquarters in London to a fund managed by Orion Capital Managers for £209.6m.

The deal included an initial leaseback agreement of 30 months, during which time BT would move its headquarters to a new London location.

BT said the sale was part of its previously announced business transformation programme.

Details of a new headquarters were expected to be announced shortly, it added.
