- Home entertainment products distributor MBL Group has signed a two-year deal with Sainsbury's.

MBL will provide and support a new website which will carry a omprehensive catalogue of entertainment products across music, video, games (hardware and software) and books.

Sainsbury's is the first major customer to launch on MBL's innovative new e-commerce platform developed by its digital distribution business, Global Media Vault Ltd.

MBL says launching a new 'white-label' e-commerce platform further cements MBL's position as the UK's leading provider of entertainment retail services, and rounds off its service proposition alongside its physical and digital distribution businesses.

MBL also confirmed that it had started talks with Morrisons on clarifying the future commercial relationship when the existing contract expires in September 2011.
