- Energy saving devices maker Sabien Technology has booked a half-year loss of £0.067 million, from a £0.3 million profit a year earlier.

The result came on lower sales of £0.94 million, from £1.49 million a year earlier.

Sabien has a sales pipeline of £6.3 million.

Looking ahead, the company said:

"Although we made a small loss in the first half, we anticipate delivering a full year trading performance in line with current market expectations with sales performance weighted towards the second half of the year."
