- More than 1.8 million Card Protection Plan Limited customers have successfully submitted a claim for being mis-sold protection products.

CPPL - which is part of CPP Group - is participating in a redress scheme under a scheme of arrangement for mis-selling of card and identity protection products.

The scheme bar date is 30 August and claims for compensation will not be considered after this date by the scheme administrator.

As at 5 June, the proportion of scheme customers who have successfully submitted a claim is 26% which represents 1.82m customers. The figures include claims relating to CPPL and also its business partners who are participants in the scheme.
