StockMarketWire.com - Landore Resources [LON:LND] was up in late trading after announcing that it expects to start drilling on the BAM East gold zone at its Junior Lake property in Ontario on 30 June.

The company says preparations are well advanced for the extension drilling of the newly discovered gold zone. Drilling to date has delineated the near surface, +30 metres wide gold zone, for 100 metres along strike and 100 metres down dip remaining open in all directions.

Landore is currently reviewing its lithium prospects on the highly prospective Junior Lake property, including the historic Despard pegmatite, the Swole Lake pegmatite and the Tape Lake pegmatites both of which were discovered by Landore.

Asgard Metals - Ariana Resources' [LON:AAU] 86%-owned Australian subsidiary - has completed a joint agreement to vend a package of tenements in Western Australia and the Northern Territory to Kingston Resources as part of a broader deal involving Slipstream Resources Group.

This package of tenements contains potential for lithium-tantalum bearing pegmatitic mineralisation in four areas in Western Australia and the Northern Territory.

Managing director Dr. Kerim Sener said: "This is a very pleasing result for our technology-metals subsidiary which was able to act swiftly to secure the rights to some of the tenement applications that form part of this deal with Kingston. We are again pleased to have been able to cooperate productively with Slipstream on this deal, and to have been able to apply again a successful formula to vend the complete licence package to Kingston.

"We now look forward to seeing the formal completion of this deal and towards Kingston undertaking new exploration on this licence package."

The Reserve has increased to 280 million tonnes at an average grade of 88.4% from the previous level of 250 million tonnes of polyhalite at a grade of 87.8% (as announced on 18 September 2013), Sirius said.

Amur Minerals Corporation [LON:AMC] has initiated its 2016 field programme ahead of schedule at its Kun-Manie production licence in far east Russia. The company says this is the earliest start to the drilling field season since exploration began in 2004.

A total of 15,000 metres of drilling are planned for completion within the three and a half kilometre long Maly Kurumkon / Flangovy ("MKF") deposit. The prime objective of the drill programme is to generate a large representative metallurgical sample from the deposit for use in the final process design of the ore treatment facilities. Exploration drilling will also be undertaken to convert existing Inferred resources to that of Indicated and to further expand the resource of the MKF deposit. Satellite communications have now been established to the MKF deposit base camp and it has been reported that drilling begun on 5 May 2016.
