StockMarketWire.com - Solid State said first-half revenue rose by about 12%, reflecting strong organic growth in its distribution division of close to 20%.

The separate manufacturing division reported revenue growth of 7%, helping to boost group revenue to £22.5m, up from £20.09m in the previous year.

Looking forward, the company said it remained confident that its prospects were strong. The order book at September 30 was £18.0m, up from £14.8m a year earlier, it said.
