- Eckoh's revenue increased by 10.0% to £14.8m in the six months to the end of September as US operations grew by 36% to £5.4m - 37% of group revenues.

Recurring revenue strengthened to 78% (H1 FY17: 76%) and gross profit increased 25% to £11.0m .

Adjusted operating profit rose by 66% to £2.0m and adjusted EBITDA increased 34% to £2.6m.

The group reported a pre-tax profit before tax of £1.5m (against a £0.2m loss last time.

Chief executive Nik Philpot said: "The clear progress we have made in the US in a short period of time, combined with the size of the opportunity in that market, continues to support our belief that it will surpass the UK.

'Eckoh remains at the forefront of contact centre security and our patents, including those that are to be newly awarded, now underpin all of our US payments revenue creating a key differentiator and barrier to future competitors.

'As we enter the second half, taking into account the contracts we have already won so far this year, and the strong near-term sales pipeline, we are anticipating a second half in line with current expectations.'
