StockMarketWire.com - Boku has signed an agreement with EE to provide billing support to consumer purchases from Google Play, the digital distribution service which serves as the official app store for Android.

The service allows users to purchase and download applications, music, movies and TV shows, books and publications to their mobile device. The agreement is to facilitate the migration of EE's Google Play billing traffic on to the Boku platform and went live at the end of November.

The Boku platform now processes all Google Play purchases made through the EE network.

Boku was selected by EE through an open competitive request for proposal (RFP) process.
