Employment has grown in 490,300 people in the last 12 months at an annual rate of 2.65%.

Employment in the public sector increased in the fourth quarter by 12,700, while in the private sector it fell by 63,500.

In the last 12 months, employment has increased by 401,600 people in the private sector and 88,600 in the public sector.
