StockMarketWire.com - Convatec Group said Wednesday revenues grew in the first quarter of the year.
The firm generated revenues of $458.2 in the first quarter of the year, up 13.7% from $403.1m reported in the same period a year ago. Advance wound care revenue grew 10% to $147.1m in the first quarter, while ostomy care revenue grew 5.1% to $128.0m. The firm's continence & critical care and infusion devices segments reported 26.8% and 20.3% revenue growth, respectively.
The firm reaffirmed its 2018 financial guidance of organic revenue growth in the range of 2.5% to 3.0% and an adjusted earnings (EBIT) margin of 24% to 25%.
