- Fund management group Braveheart Investment Group said Monday net profit nearly doubled in the year through March as the value of its investments rose sharply.

For the financial year ended 31 March 2018, profit after tax was £1.49m, up from £0.78m the previous year and earnings per share increased to 5.51p per share from 2.28p.

The upbeat performance comes despite total revenue falling to £0.82m from £1.15m. Total income, however, grew to £1.98m from £1.61m as the value of the company's investments grew to £1.15m from £1.61m the previous year.
