- Agricultural supplies company Wynnstay confirmed that Gareth Davies would take over as chief executive on 10 July.

As previously reported, Davies would succeed Ken Greetham, who would retire after serving a decade in the role.

'Gareth has been a key member of the leadership team over recent years, having joined Wynnstay in 1999,' chairman Jim McCarthy said.

'He is talented and well-respected, and we look forward to him leading the company through its next stage of growth.'
