- Recruitment consultancy Robert Walters said its gross profit climbed by 16% in the second quarter on-year, amid growth in both the UK and abroad.

Gross profit, otherwise known as net fee income, rose to £100.0m in the three months through June. On a constant currency basis, it rose 18%.

In the UK, gross profit grew by 12%.

In Europe, it grew by 23% and in Asia Pacific it grew by 13%.

'The group delivered another quarter of strong net fee income growth across all regions,' chief executive Robert Walters said.

'We have continued to benefit from the diversity of both our international footprint and recruitment revenue streams.'
