- Home safety products supplier FireAngel said Wednesday it had signed a three-year partnership with Mears, to deliver an integrated connected home management system.

Under the terms of the Agreement, FireAngel would supply Mears with an integrated connected home management system.

The system would use FireAngel's Wi-Safe 2 wireless interlink technology, connecting the company's smoke, heat and carbon monoxide alarms to a cloud-based system, allowing Mears to conduct remote monitoring.

FireAngel said it would charge Mears a monthly subscription fee per connection; Mears had committed to deliver a minimum number of connections during the term of the minimum three year agreement.

As part of the agreement, Mears agreed to introduce FireAngel's UK Trade team to a number of its clients in the housing sector.
