- Unite Group said the valuation of its UK student accommodation joint venture had grown by 1.1% in the September quarter to £2.23bn, on a like-for-like basis.

The portfolio comprised 23,483 beds in 63 properties across 21 university towns and cities in the UK.

The value of its London student accommodation joint venture, meanwhile, had grown by 1.6% during the quarter to £1.21bn, also on a like-for-like basis

Its investment portfolio comprised 8,354 beds across 12 properties in London and the Aston Student Village in Birmingham.

The increase in valuations was driven by rental growth recognised in the quarter, Unite said.
