StockMarketWire.com - Croda International said Friday it would scrap Plant Impact's agricultural sales team in Brazil after completing an evaluation of the latter's strategy and market positioning.

The update came after Croda agreed to acquire Plant Impact for £10m earlier this year.

The company said lease of the Plant Impact office in Brazil would not be required as it intended to scrap the latter's agricultural sales team in Brazil and move operations to local offices of the Croda group.

The internal changes would have no impact on existing business, customer service levels or Croda's fundamental rationale for the acquisition, Croda said. Overall the integration programme had been positive, it added. At 8:30am: [LON:CRDA] Croda International PLC share price was -100.5p at 4632.5p
