StockMarketWire.com - Computer product manufacturer Solid State said it had acquired opto-electronics and displays specialist Pacer Technologies for £3.7m.

The deal would be funded by existing resources and new banking facilities provided by Lloyds Bank.

For the year through March, Pacer reported revenue of £15.2m, and a profit before tax of £431k.
