StockMarketWire.com - Grupo Clarin said Friday third-quarter income fell sharply even as revenue inched higher driven largely by upbeat performance in the printing and publishing segment.

For the three months to 30 September, income fell 92.4% to Ps. 39.8m and revenue rose 2.1% to Ps. 4.09bn.

The plunge income was attributed to lower results of discontinued operations from Cablevision.

(EBITDA) for the third quarter fell 21.8% to Ps. 421.3m from the same period last year.
