StockMarketWire.com - Regal Petroleum said it had hooked up a new well at the Vasyschevskoye gas and condensate field in Ukraine to a gas-processing facility to allow for longer-term production testing following positive early results.
Initial tests on one interval failed to establish a stabilised flow rate.
However, during testing of a shallower reservoir, strong gas and condensate flows were recorded.
'Accordingly, the well has been hooked up to the gas processing facility to allow longer-term production testing to be conducted to optimise the operating parameters of the well,' Regal said.
Currently, the well was producing at a stabilised flow rate of around 55,000 cubic metres of gas and 10 cubic metres a day of condensate.
