- Broking group TP ICAP said it had appointed Richard Berliand as its new chairman to succeed Rupert Robson.

Berliand would joint the board as chairman designate in the first quarter of 2019, though Robson would continue as chairman until the company's annual general meeting in May.

Robson had announced his impending departure earlier this year.

Berliand had previously spent 23 years at JP Morgan, including serving as head of the bank's global cash equities business, and had also previously served as deputy chairman of Deutsche Borse.
