- Greencoat UK Wind said it had acquired the Church Hill and Crighshane wind farms near Omagh in Northern Ireland for £87m.

The assets, with a combined generation capacity of 50.6 megawatts, were acquired from the Irish Infrastructure Fund, which is jointly managed by AMP Capital and Irish Life Investment Managers, and minority holder Viridian Group.

The purchase price included the prepayment of existing project finance debt facilities.

Church Hill is located 16 miles north west of Omagh in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, with a capacity of 18.4MW.

Crighshane is located 20 miles north west of Omagh in County Tyrone with a capacity of 32.2MW.

Both wind farms are equipped with Enercon E70 turbines and have been operational since July 2012.
