- Computer services provider Computacenter on Friday said it had appointed current director Peter Ryan as its new chairman.

Ryan would replace current chairman Greg Lock at the conclusion of the company's annual general meeting on 16 May.

Ryan joined the board in February 2018 as an independent Non-Executive director.

He had been appointed chairman following a 'thorough selection process led by the Special Nomination Committee which involved consideration of internal and external candidates, with assistance from a search consultancy,' the company said.

Over the last 11 years, Ryan had held roles such as chief sales officer with Hewlett Packard Enterprise and chief client officer at Logica.
