- Recruitment and training company Staffline said it won new contracts worth £35m.

The contracts were awarded in the latest round of the Education and Skills Funding Agency's European Social Fund competition.

They had a duration of 27 months and covered 10 local enterprise partnership areas across England.

'These excellent competition results build on our outstanding track record of supporting unemployed people to move into work, and further demonstrates our continued success in transitioning PeoplePlus into the UK's leading skills and training provider, chief executive Chris Pullen said.
