- Investment group Volvere said it expected to post a rise in annual profit owing to a gain on the sale in October of Impetus Automotive.

Pre-tax profit for the year through December was expected to rise to £20.6m, though with the sale proceeds stripped out the company said it expected to post a £2.5m loss.

Revenue was due to fall £18.6m, down from £43.4m, due to the asset sale.

The underlying pre-tax result from continuing operations improved by around £0.1m to breakeven.
