- Mining royalty company Anglo Pacific Group posted a large rise in annual profit, as it boosted income from a portfolio including the Kestrel coal mine in Australia.

Pre-tax profit for the year through December jumped to £44.5m, up from £11.8m on-year.

Royalty-related revenue rose 16% to £46.1m.

The company declared a full-year dividend of 8p per share, up 14% on-year.

'2018 was the second year in a row in which we reported record contribution from our royalty portfolio, and the recent announcement from Adaro suggests that there is a significant increase in volume to come at Kestrel in 2019,' said chief executive Julian Treger.
