- Data company WANdisco said it had secured a contract worth around $2.2m with a 'leading global provider' of information and communications technology infrastructure and smart devices in China.

The agreement would see the client deploy WANdisco's Fusion platform.

The client had purchased a limited perpetual license to use Fusion across its enterprise, the company said.

'The board believe that there remains significant opportunity for further growth as the use cases for the client expands over time,' it added.

'The contract was secured by WANdisco illustrating the capability of the company's direct sales team to engage with global companies.'
