- Adept said it expected annual revenues and underlying earnings to increase 13%, in line with consensus market expectations as acquisitions expanded its geographic reach and product range.

The company said it anticipated 'increase in revenues and underlying EBITDA (earnings)in line with consensus market expectations of a 13% rise year-on-year.

Net senior debt of £27.2m as at 31 March 2019 was £0.8m lower than market consensus expectations, partly driven by the cash receipt of research and development tax credits from HMRC in the current year in respect of prior periods, the company added.

Adept proposed an increased final dividend of 4.90p per share from 4.50p a year earlier, which would take the total dividends for the year to 9.80p per share, up 12% on last year.
