StockMarketWire.com - John Menzies, a global aviation services business, said it had won a number of new contract and renewals across four UK airports.
EgyptAir had renewed its contract with Menzies World Cargo for a three-year term at London Heathrow Airport.
Menzies was also appointed passenger and ramp handling partner to Jazeera Airways, a Kuwaiti based Carrier, at London Gatwick Airport.
The aviation company was also selected as ground handler of choice at London’s Luton airport by Level, a brand operated by British Airways owner IAG.
In Glasgow, Menzies said Canadian airline WestJet had extended its agreement for passenger, flight ops, ramp handling and de-icing services at the airport.
'It is great to see some momentum across the UK business. Not only is this growth coming from new contract wins, but also multiple contract renewals, a testament to the great work of the Menzies team on the ground. I look forward to further successes as the year progresses,' said Giles Wilson, Interim Chief Executive of John Menzies.
