StockMarketWire.com - Asset management company Schroders posted a 4% rise in its assets under management in the first quarter to £377.9bn, supported by an increase in both institutional and intermediary managed funds.

Total institutional funds climbed to £252.3bn from £242.3bn from 1 January to 31 March, while intermediary funds rose to £125.6bn from £121.2bn, the company said.

Separately, assets under its wealth management unit also increased, climbing 6.4% to £46.5bn.
