- Directa Plus was granted two new patents in Italy and China to use its propriety G+ graphene technology to make golf balls and nanoplatelets, respectively.

The first was an Italian patent for the use of the company's G+ graphene to make golf balls, while the second , a Chinese patent, which would cover Directa Plus' process to make graphene nanoplatelets.

The use of the G+ compounds in golf balls, can 'provide a series of beneficial features that offer opportunities to develop a new generation of golf ball, both for professional and amateur players,' the company said.
