StockMarketWire.com - Attractions designer Paragon Entertainment said it had became aware that a winding up petition had been filed in court for its principal trading facility Paragon Creative.

The petition, related to sums due to tax regulator HM Revenue & Customs, was filed at The High Court of Justice, Companies Court on 1 May.

Paragon Entertainment said the petition related to sums due totaling £215k, with a hearing date listed for 12 June.

The petition was advertised in the London Gazette on 31 May.

'The company and its advisers are in communication with HMRC with the objective of obtaining a validation order to acknowledge that the sums due to HMRC have already been discharged in full and therefore the petition should be dismissed,' Paragon Entertainment said.
